Drill a hole up from the basement with a 3/4 inch drill in walls. Use a tape measure to accurately note the location of the wall from two directions in the room for wall light installation. Enter the basement to recreate these measurements and mark the whole location for drilling. Drill the hole for the electrical cable just below the box location.
Feed the power cable up hole in the wall and have an assistant fish it out of the hole with your fingers, pliers or an extended wire hanger. Place the drawer through the hole in the wall, gently so as not to damage the plaster surrounding it.
