The wood seat bar stool is one of the most versatile pieces of furniture in a house. Working just as well against a kitchen island or peninsula, a high table. Have an attendant hold up to four 1-by-1-by-36-inch poles and place a 1/2-by-12-by-12-inch block of wood on top of them. Maneuver the four posts in the absolute corners of the block of wood and drill a hole through the top of the block and into each post. Place a 1/2-by-2-by-10-inch block between each set of messages, with the largest surface facing out and the long, thin surface against the bottom of the top block. Place two additional 1/2-by-2-by-10-inch blocks between two opposite sets of messages, 2 feet off the ground. Drill two holes through each side post and at each end of both blocks, for a total of eight holes. Place a 1-inch thick board with a diameter of 16 inches in an upside-down position on the work surface. Adjust the upper block of the stool set face down against the bottom of this thick plate, which is the seat of the bar stool.
