To build a solid wood round coffee table, choose wood with the straightest edges possible. Remember that ‘2-for’ the wood is rounded at the long edges. And will create a V-groove in the joints when the pieces are glued together. The principle for making a round wooden table is the same, regardless of the type of wood to be used. For advice on round wooden tables made of plywood. See “Creating a round table: A serious type page” in the reference section of this article.
Place the 6s 2 on a work table, along with the bar clamps. Apply glue on one of the long edges of five of them, push them together, then place the bar clamps through the six and tighten the clamps. With a hammer, hit the areas in which the long edges meet to keep them as even as possible while tightening the clamps. Remove the bar clamps when the glue dries and use a spatula to scrape as much of the glue residue as possible.

Drill a small hole in one end of the 20-inch piece of latticework. Measure from that hole, through the lattice and make a mark in 15 inches. Insert a 2d box nail into one of the holes and place it in the center point of Stage 4. Insert the nail to hold the net in place. Place a pencil in the other hole and draw a circle around the surface of the table using the grid as a drawing compass. Sand the edges and top of the table top with the belt sander and a 100 grit sandpaper.
